It is based on the reductionist perspective which emphasizes on the breaking instruction down into smaller components to focus mainly on the building skills, knowledge, attitudes on students that need to be learned and provides the right learning conditions for the outcomes.   Personalized Learning and Instruction In modern society, personalized learning should be given more important for as actual substantive change in educational system. The information-age instructional model is customized rather than standardized, learning-centered rather than content-delivery oriented, student-directed (or jointly directed) rather than teacher-directed, and involves active learning rather than passive learning.
